Unhappy revs up all by its self

ive owned my rodeo for bout 2months and out of the blue it revs up all by its self it does it with the the clutch engaged or not i can feel it gettin faster while im drivin 3.1 2wd please help [email protected] its a 1992

Hey there:

You might want to the accesory host conected to the TBI. Might had recently deteriated to nothing. The RPMs settled down when I replaced it. Its a small hose that leads from the TBI to a tee which brance to the temp sensor in the air cleaner and the cruise control (if equipted).

my amigo will do the same thing if the coolant gets low and the engine temp gets to high check the antifreeze
