you should have just a little play in it, not a lot though - i mean barely any! and as long as it doesnt move up and down, side to side, and doesnt move in and out very much, you will be fine!

Re: turbo shaft play
it doesnt move much but when i pull it out it will make a clunk noise so that might be to much
if so where is the cheapest place to get a rebuild kit? |

Re: turbo shaft play
A rebuild kit is typically 150 bucks. To balance the assembly is at least 25 plus shipping both ways. You can get a new mitsu 2g t25 in good shape for 100 or less. I wouldnt bother rebuilding. If you do, its best to send it out to be done properly, which then costs even more money. Your call though.
