94 P'finder, starter, how get to bolts?

Need to remove the starter on my 94 Nissan Pathfinder. The 2 bolts that hold it on - how do I get to those bolts? What else needs to be removed? Don't want to do more than I have to or remove the wrong things. Thanks

Re: 94 P'finder, starter, how get to bolts?

you may have to remove the clutch slave providing it is a manual trans just un bolt it and pull it down so you wont have to get fluid everywhere and have to bleed the air out later.....most of the work can be done through the fender well....pull the splash guards back and there it is.......hope this helped
