Question for the experts on adjustable cam gears. I have purchased a set of STR adjustable cam gears for my Integra LS, and I was planning on adding a pair of Crane cams (#12), but finances are not permitting right now. I am wondering if I should still install the adjustable gears on the stock cams or not. Is it worth while tuning the stock cams? My plan was to advance the intake cam 2 or 3 degrees and retard the exhaust cam 2 or 3 degrees. This tuning would be done on a dyno of course. Any info or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx.

Re: Adjustable Cam gears
Try the search function, this has been asked a dozen times. They won't offer hardly any gains until you install aftermarket cams, because they need dynotuned via gears.
