Transmission Valve Body
2000 Blazer 4.3 Auto.
Problem started after purchase @17,000, After long trip trans, slippage indicated by increase RPM usually 2000-2200@65 ,goes to 2800-3000,stop put in park, back to drive and problem goes away. This doesn't happen all the time. last time noticed hard shift from 1 to 2. I have been reading about know valve body problems with this model trans. I have 75,000 on it now, Do I use after market parts or factory if this is the problem,and how is this problem checked by a Local repair shop?
