Re: R32 GTR rebuild (99.9% complete)

Maybe its just the pics, but the paint doesn't seem to have much of a shine. Seems almost like orange peel. Have you polished it yet?

Re: R32 GTR rebuild (99.9% complete)

test fitted the standard R32 GTR wing but it looked WRONG so it will stay wingless.

Re: R32 GTR rebuild (99.9% complete)

what made you rebuild it in the first place?
I like the GTR logo on the bonnet

I got sick of looking at it with the wheels prtruding from the wheel arches and at the time making a wide body kit appeled to me. At times it was a right pain in the ass (not helped by the breaking and losing one of the A pillars)

Just spent a few hours polishing and waxing so expect some properly finished photos next weekend when I get a chance to take some pics during the day in naturtal light

Maybe my inital pictures didn't do it justice.

Since those pics it has been light sanded, polished and waxed. The window wipers and wing mirrors have been added as have the orange tail lights (indicators).

You don't have to worry about the wheels stinking out anymore. That's wide!! Great execution, and fantastic looking finish.
