383 Stroker project
I've got a 1991 Pontiac Firebird v6. Obviously this is not enough power. I have plans for a carburated 383 stroker with around 500 engine horse power. I know I will need a new bell housing for the 700r4 tranny if i want to keep the same transmition. I'm sure I will need new suspension as well. Also I know I will need a completely new rearend. I know most of what I need, but I just don't know exactly. I would like to know exact parts and cost and what-not. If anyone can help with this it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

Re: 383 Stroker project
You do know that you going to have to soup up that tranny too.
383 is torque monster too...Seen them built at 502 ft of torque and 372 @ 2800 rpm. Usually I might be wrong but I beleive 700R4 stock can only handle 400 to 450 ft of torque. Please correct me if I'm wrong. going to need traction thats for sure and beef up the rear. As for cost not a clue bro
