rear disc conversion
I HATE DRUMS!!!
To convert rear drums on a '94 Civic EX to disc what all would be needed? What I want to do is take the rear assemblies needed off of other junk yard Civics... I will probably just grab the entire assembly from whatever car I find but right now I am trying to price things out a little bit. -rear trailing arms -left & right calipers -left & right rotors -brake lines What else? There has to be more to it than that...?

This link and this link should give you an idea of the parts you'll need to do it. And if I'm not mistaken, you can use either CRX Si parts, or 3rd or 2nd gen Integra parts.

looks like for around $700 I can get the stock rear disc set up from the junk yard including 4 new rotors, all new pads, and braided stainless brake lines
stock rear disc set up will fit under the 14 inch stock steelies correct? I ask this because during winter the stock steelies are what I use.

yeah I dont wanna run high performance tires in snow... it just doesnt work!! (got stuck with them on in a snow storm last year, YIKES!) thats why the trusty 14x5 stock wheels with all season tires are still around
Also, my cost included: full set of 4 brembo stock replacement rotors, 2 front, 2 rear new pads front and rear new stainless brake lines front and rear so I could cut the cost down a good bit by running stock brake lines, and not replacing the front rotors and pads, but I figured if I was doing the brakes I would dig in and get them all the way I want them... you know?
