SIR seats in 89 hatch

YES, I used the search already and found nothing. Can anyone give me any pointers on getting '99-'00 SIR seats to fit a '89 DX hatch?

i searched on h-t and this is what someone said..

"I put 2000 si seats in my 90si hatchback. They don't bolt directly in, I only used 3 holes instead of all 4 but it works. And the seats don't move at all. Only thing about the seats is that they make me seat up real high with them all the way adjusted. They will work though, the back two bolts will bolt up. The drive seat i used front left side and the passenger i used the front right side."

hope that helps

There is a pretty good write-up on http://www.thedropshop.tv/seats.html for putting in Del Sol seats (which bolt in exactly the same as EK seats). However, the info on HT & Jon's site is for '90-91. The '88-89 mounting is a lot different than '90-91 (which is why I'm having such a b!tch of a time putting '89 CRX Si seats in my DX).

build brackets, relocate holes, weld. Your done, its hella easy. dont be a dumb ass like that guy that used 3 of the 4 holes there are 4 holes for a reason. Imagain getting into a wreck and cause you only used 3 holes, your seat comes out and you find yourself in the back seat all focked up. Do it the right way or dont do it at all. My
