Re: how do i fix curbed rims??
I used to work for a company that chromed rims and that is just about how you do it. They used an Arc welder with Aluminum rod. Then they used an air drill with about 100 grit paper on it, then used like a 180 or so paper on a DA sander, then it had to be buffed to smooth out the sandpaper. Also first you will have to blast off all of the paint that is already on the wheel also. It is a long process so have fun. I wouldn't suggest doing it as an professional to an amature.

Well take your time so you don't fuck up. Believe me though its a rough task. I used to do about 10 different steps from start to fininsh and it would take about 8 hours for 28 or so wheels and I was #2 in the department.

Shouldn't be that expensive to powder coat your rim(s). A couple years ago I cracked one of my 17's. I shipped it to a place in S. Cali (don't remember the name, but I could probably find the receipt if you need/want it). They rewelded it, smoothed out a flat spot on the rim & repainted the whole thing. With shipping both ways and the labor involved I paid less than $150.
