newbie question about a4 quatro
I've been a Volvo owner for 20 years (everything from 145 to 960) but am really tired of their new found unreliability. I'm right now test driving a 99 A4 Quatro with 59K on it. It's kind of pricey but drives very well - both solid and nimble. You folks that are Audi-savey have any comments about the Quatro in general and the 99 (v6 non turbo) in general?

Re: newbie question about a4 quatro
in my experience that year and car is a great car.
the motor puts out ample power, the seating is nice, and they are very reliable, also i owned a 99 a4 when it had 20K and didn't sell it until about 2 months ago when it had 85k. over the course of 65k miles i never had a single problem with the car. i'm not sure what pricy to you is, but for that kind of miles with the motor 18-20k would be a reasonable price.
