automatic start? 93 caprice..

does the car need to have keyless entry to be able to put an auto start kit?

i was wanting to put one on a 93 caprice ..but was told it wouldnt work..
any help..would be good..

NO, you don't need keyless entry to put remote start on your car. If a shop told you that you did, run like hell to a different shop.

Hmm? How'd I get one to work on a Harley??? Anyhoo, you can put them on anything. I've even got them to work on old carb'b cars by using a trunk popper as the throttle puller. Granted, the car was tuned real good.

I'd defenately do what saltypeter said. Maybe they stated that because they do not like working on older cars?
