fan not blowing
Hi. I have an 88 olds cutlass cierra and the fan hasn't worked for about a year now. I put up with it last winter but I don't want to do another year. It will produce heat but of course the heat only comes out when I get going about 30 mph or so. Is there a fuse that controls this because I couldn't find one. What else could be the problem and how do I fix it or do I need to take it to a repair shop. thanks for the help.

Re: fan not blowing
there is a fuse for the fan, but after you check the fuse, (if its ok) take a wire and run it to the fan from the battery. make sure the fan works

Thanks for the help Shekky, Where exactly would this fuse be and what would it look like? I couldn't find one in the fuse panel unless its under some other name. Thanks again for the help.

under the a/c compressor? What would the fuse look like. I'm not very knowledgeable about this so I appreciate your help. I'd like to save a costly trip to the repair guy if I can fix this on my own. thanks again.
