New 7-Series Facelift

Are sales dropping or did BMW just thought the 7 series needed an update? It doesn't matter, the 7 series will receive a facelift anyway! If you look at the picture below, you will notice new headlights, kidney grille and bumpers. Although not visable, I think the rear will also be changed. inside you will proberly find an improved iDrive system and some minor upgrades.

sales basically dropped... not so much here in the U.S ...but the europeans are not "buying" the design... so i guess its back to the drawing board..

I hope I don't offend any new 7 owners, but Bangle is killing BMW. Anyone seen the new 5? Can you say honda Accord/Acura clone. The slab sided sheetmetal reminds me of a Camry, no personality. Look at BMWs over the years, the distinctive crease along the upper body, distinctively flared fenders, nicely trimmed widows, relatively boxy styling, eveything that most people think of when BMW is mentioned. The only car that looks good with Bangle styling influence is the z4. It fits. Well enough, back to my padded room, Brad

I like the original E65 7-series, I don't like the way the new facelift looks, from that picture it looks like there is very little rear visibility.

I think Chris Bangle must be really dissapointed at what the marketing men did to his stupid headlight design!
