Engine swap??

I'm just curious, I am thinking of buying a used Corolla GTS not to turn into a drift car, but into a roadrace car and I was wondering if anyone knew if I could swap a 3SGTE motor into the car, if that would even work???? I know the 4AGE is a great motor, but I would love to have a 3SGTE in it....
