Question Tow/Haul w/p towing

I've been thinking about this for a long time. Occasionally I drive with my tow/haul on even though I'm not pulling or carrying anything with me. Is this bad? I don't really see the harm, but was just curious if its bad or it doesnt affect anything.

im no expert...but i dont think that will be a problem...because im pretty sure all the tow/haul does is make the truck stay in gear longer...

It changes the computers shift pionts (if your accelerating like grandma) and makes it shift faster. I don't know why you would be driving with it on without a load unless your racing.

It won't hurt anything but it does change the shift points. The only downside to this I can figure is that you will lower your mpg.

Re: Tow/Haul w/p towing

Correct. The tow haul shift points are RPM controlled. It will go into OD at a certain point.
