1994 Blazer Keyless problem

I lost the transmitter to my 1994 Blazer S10. I purchased a new transmitter on eBay, P/n15955515.

My instructions say to use a jumper wire with alligator clips at both ends. Where can I get this? I live in northern New Jersey and there are a lot of electronic and auto parts stores in my area. This is all new to me so I don’t know where to look..or what to look for. Also, where can I buy this on-line?
The Blazer has a security system that will not allow the car to start with just a key, the transmitter must open the doors and then the key used. By now the battery is probably dead from not being able to turn off that alarm.
Chevrolet has suggested that I have the car towed to them and they will diagnose the problem. I think the only problem is that I need a transmitter.
Thank you.
Maureen

Thank you for your prompt response. Now, I hope I have the correct transmitter/keyless remote.
