Drivers seat has no thigh support

I just got a 2003 Tacoma and found that the drivers seat has almost no thigh support on the right side. Every time I turn left my whole body practically rolls into the center console. Does anyone else have this problem, or just me? Any ideas on how to fix it?

I have noticed the same thing. My '95 4Runner Limited has very supportive and adjustable (just the drivers) front seats. My new double cab is an awesome truck but the seats leave a lot to be desired. I am considering a leather package from Katskinz and swapping out the drivers seat for one from a 4Runner or aftermarket and then cover it to match. Let me know what you end up doing.

reply to drivers seat has no thigh support

You are not alone in this, I have experienced the same lack of pleasure from my 02 double cab. I have a fix but it is costly, Mastercraft makes seat brackets that can be used to mount many of their race seats as well as some other seats. I estimate the total cost of the swap to be at or above $500.00 depending on the seat or seats you choose. Keep in mind that price is for one seat, not a pair. I am interested to know if a swap for anoter Toyota seat works.

Drivers Seat No Support. I Have An 03' Club Cab With Same Problem. It Is Murder On Long Drives. I Am Opting To Take The Expensive Way Out By Replacing The Seats. (about $549.00)

Re: Drivers seat has no thigh support

2003 xtra cab. I went to the local swap meet and bought myself two lambswool seat covers. my car is black interior and the seat covers are also black. looks nice and feels nice when you're driving. if you take a sharp turn... the most you will do is lean left/right... wont slide. 100% lambswool seat covers are $85 bucks. cheap alternative.
