Scratchbuilding turbos

Hi
Im somewhat new here and I need some help. I make to build a turbo setup for my RB26. I've seen some people do it with tree sprue , and that's all I have , cause the only place to get styrene tubing is in winnipeg and I don't have a ride out there.
Thanks

Re: Scratchbuilding turbos

Just cut off some part to proper length, use some source of heat to bend it into a circle shape, i dont know about the turbine in the middle.

Re: Scratchbuilding turbos

ok, the turbo is bolted on to the exhaust manifold. Usually with a turbo you have an IC. one pipe leads to the cylinders. he other one connects to the compressor. The turbo is connected to the wastegate.

Re: Scratchbuilding turbos

Just do a search on www.google.com and search for turbochargers for reference pics and how they are set up.
