wont start no lights

I am having a problem with my 89 crx si out of no where It wont start no dash lights come on and I seem to be getting a feed back from the main fuse box. when I tested the the power at the stater I had nothing until I unhooked the wire that goes to the fuse box. somebody said it might be the main relay where is that and does any body know what else it might be.
