Oil in Spark Plug Canal 325i

I recently purchased, within the past two years that is, a 94' 325i 4door which was real clean. Im in need of a smog check and since it has 124,000 miles on it, i was going to change the spark plugs. To my dismay, the second cylinder bank after removing the coil pack was filled with oil and I am hoping it is something as simple as a cover gasket that has busted. I tried to remove the plug, and from prior automotive experience i know when something feels stripped, so i didnt try and give it my all in loosening it as most plugs break loose right away and the other ones did too in the bank. In any case, the plug wouldnt budge loose. I am hoping the plug not coming out isnt meaning that someone before me stripped the head causing it to crack and subsequently allow oil to get in the spark plug chamber. If anyone has any info on this or can let me know if they have experienced anything like this before. My common thoughts are well maybe the oil has burned itself into the threads and its making it hard to loosen the plug. I would appreciate anyones input. I dont know if these have a valve cover gasket between the coil/spark plug area of the top of the head or whether its all one unit. Thanks a bunch!

Relax, the oil is from the valve cover gasket. You can's strip a spark plug by removing it, so just unscrew it... they don't get changed very often so they tend to stick. The Alluminum alloy on a BMW head is not as soft as the "lawn furniture" blend found on most other cars.
