Re: Re: suspension question?????????
For drag racing only
1. Tires 2. Springs 3. Shocks 4. Traction bars(if needed) A sway bar will do NOTHING in a straight line, besides add unwanted weight - racers worst enemy. Eibach has some nice Drag Launch springs |

What you're going to want to do is have a STRONG emphasis on the front suspension. Basically you'll want the get the rear stiffer, but have the front TWICE as stiff to compensate for wheel hop and such. Keep in mind that a setup like this does NOT handle well at all on the street, if you decide to drive fast and whip around corners. This set up will cause your car to have way exadurated understeer, and just won't be well unless you drive it like normal. On the drag strip it can give an advantage.

Re: suspension question?????????
Just a quick note. When ppl say "track" they generally mean racing on a shaped track(not straight) in which turn radius, and cornering performance are an issue. When you say "Drag Only" in reference to your car, we assume this to mean you will only drive it in a straight line for about a quarter mile at a time.

A coilover setup will help you tune your car to prevent dive and squat. In this case, you don't need anything wild, but, I would recommend something like the Koni Yellow, Skunk2 sleeve, or CG sleeve for this. With a skunk2 camber kit up front, Ingalls, shim or SPC kit in the rear. Caster you probably won't mess with. Pick your rates, and order them. You will want a stiff setup. 500F/400R or higher. Consider, hard bushings up front as well.
