Need help ASAP How to install Ignition Coil.
Hello,
I have a 98 Navigator. How hard is it to change the ignition coil? The number 3 and 7 are already been replace by a mechanic. I would like to buy the other 6 and install them myself. Please help. Oh and a I was quoted by a local dealer, they are $95 each. Where can I get these cheaper? Thanks in advance |

Re: Need help ASAP How to install Ignition Coil.
These are EXTREMELY easy to install. There are eight coils all together. This is called coil-on-plug. You don't have spark plug wires. You remove the coil off the spark plug just like you would a spark plug wire. There is a clip then to the wiring harness and presto it is off. I happen to have some coils from my Mark VIII but I am not sure if there is any difference from it to the Nav. Call if you need to 253-212-5574 TIM

Buy the coils at schucks or autozone for around $50 each. My Mark VIII i am pretty sure are different. Thanks
