I purchased an 02 TB in 03 with 17k on it , I also purchased an ext warranty to 75k. I've had 3 Inst clusters changed, rear end seal changed, fan clutch, ignition issues and now a rough idle and a very slight miss at idle. This whole truck needs to be recalled by chevy. I change the oil evey 4k,fuel filter every 10k, throttle body cleaned every 15k, and transmission fluid every 35k.I've had the fuel inj. service done twice and also changed the plugs twice, once with the original AC's and also NGK's.I've taken it to 2 dealers to have scans and one said I need a new head because the valves are not seating and the other one said i didn't. I called chevy and now they are involved . My truck is going to a third dealer of my choice and GM is paying for the rental and a complete inspection to see if the sleeves have moved in the block a recall issue with certain 02 and 03 engines.I said all this to state that we don't have to take this #$%* laying down call GM and demand some action I did. It will be at the 3rd dealer on Friday.

The problem is not GM, it is the unresponsive dealers you are stuck with, the truck will be fixed one way or another with the warranty or the special warranty from Chevy for the sleeve issue for certain production engines from 2002.

Re: 02 trailblazer too many issues to list
The first vibration was found and it was the motor/engine mounts. They apparantly are gel filled and the service rep said that it was common on TB's with 75k or more. He put me in the vehicle and put in reverse and no excessive vibration, then in all forward drive gears, and there was the vibration. $500 for everything. Next they are going to pull the pan down and look at the liner/sleeve issue. Even though your oil may not be milky or had a engine failure yet call Gm, I had started noticing water beads more and more on top of my oil filter when changing my oil.my coolant level is slightly every moth like clock work. They definitely ruled out the head gasket.
