I was wondering if I could add a blowoff valve to my JR Supercharged integra gsr?

hehe, you should of just gotten a turbocharger so you can have the blowoff valve. hehe.

You technicaly could add one with some machine work (And it wouldnt be all that expensive iether) But as tran nsx says there is absolutley no point in doing it... If you had a vortec then it would be nessisary to allow the turbine in the centrifugical compressor to unwind without impeding the unit and causing alot of heating issues when the rpms fall or when shifting (Same difference) but a roots style blower usses two roots to compress air (Unlike the centrifugical blowers (Vortec-ProCharger) which basicaly use the compressor side of a turbo geared well) thats the only place I can think of were you would come up with this idea.
Personaly I think the Centrifugical blowers are alot better than the roots/skrew type blowers, sure the kits are an assload of money but lets talk about when you want some more power. You can easily unscrew the compressor wheel and upgrade to a different one or even change the entire housing itself! and turbocharger housings arent all that expensive (Althoe wheels can be) This will change allow you to tune for a certan powerband and if you want to go big and dont want to sacrafice low end boost you can upgrade the gearing... Verry simple verry reliable system, I know someone pushing 15PSI with one of these (Vortec) and making 350whp on a B16.
