Tein or Zeal coilovers?

I am still undecided... Tein RA or Zeal. If anyone has experience w/ these coilovers, please IM me or email me w/ info. Thanks in advance (the application is a 88 CRX Si).

H&R I've had experience with ZEAL...a bit much money for the product, IMHO.

Some of my friends run Tein HA's on their Preludes, everyone of them is happy with the results... especially at the track. Be aware that RA's are not very street oriented and will not work well for that type of driving, they are in fact barely streetable according to Tein themselves. What is your intended application for this setup, autox, road race, or mostly street with some light competition?

aj-racing.com is having a sale on the Zeal C/O...I've heard that many people have switched to zeal (from Tien) and have been very pleased...I'm not telling you which to go for because I have no experience with either, just relaying what I've heard as of late

Yep 90% of Teins products are not very street oriented, great quality, but I would not run them where I live, the roads are as cracked as if we had daily earthquakes, that is a consideration. If you were driving on the autobahn or racing frequently, you will be very happy with them.

Many people get hung up with the notion that if a setup is more for race it is better, and that your car will perform better. This is not true, you may have the big name, the expensive setup but many of these shocks are not valved nor are the spring rates designed to give you any practical driving comfort, and many times on bad roads, the car handles worse than a 78 ford pickup with cracked leaf springs, just because it was not designed for our trips to Target.

So remember it is all about what you do with your car
