One hand or two?

Hahahah, no, i mean on the steering wheel.

I was riding with a girl today, and she noticed i drove with two hands, and went on about how all of her (well our) friends drive with just one hand, except for her and a few others.

So, i was just wondering if two handers are a minority.

Anyway, i know this has nothing to do with streetracing, but this is the forum where im at most often and know most of the people here.

I love when people say this, because then I don't feel bad about moving it. Prepare to make some friends in COMPLETELY off-topic. :sun:

well, it isnt COMPLETELY off-topic, it DOES have to do with cars, driving, and steering wheels, and you even mentioned cruise control...and the thing below completely off-topic say "talk about anything that doesnt have to do with cars" which is logically the reason why i didnt post it there, and posted it here instead

You have nothing to worry about; you're doin' just fine. If someone gives you trouble about it, you let me know.

I'll end up driving one hand if I'm driving agressively so I can shift faster, but usually 2 hands especially if I'm on the highway even if cruise control is on -- you can lose control fast at that speed if you run over something or it's windy.

my power steering is a beautiful thing, and allows one handed driving with ease, in my lude and my s10...
always one hand on the street, unless i am flying in third gear through the metroparks at night, when i dont need to shift... even then, it is only into fourth, and that is all of a half second shift...

so if i am straight linin and shiftin, one hand, but if i can hold a gear and have to corner, two hands...
both rides are pretty strong in the crosswinds, so i dont need two hands on the freeway... often... unless it is gettin over 80, which it does alot...hehehe
