Fuel Mixture for MPFI Cars..
Does anyone in here know how you can re-adjust your fuel mixture? I think mine is burning to rich, because my cat gets extremely hot after running the car for a couple minutes (I tings REEALLLY fast and even gets so hot it glows red). Also, my temp gauge moves when I press on the gas pedal, which baffels me because I have checked all my ECU wiring and it is all VERY correct, so the only other thing I could think of is sensor wiring?? I dunno, but my ignoriance requires me to ask, so please help, thanks.

DX and Si o2 sensors should be the same, as is most Honda ones are the same as long as its the same OBD.
If your O2 is broken you will run very rich and dump unburned fuel into your exhaust and than basically have flames going through your cat converter which is going to destroy it if it hasn't already. |
