8 spark plugs wires on an a 4 banger
I was looking at my friends nissan truck. A frontier it was i think. well any way it had 8 sparkplug wires going into the head . is this wrong write or what the hell is it some one please tell me

It has a twin-spark NAP-Z engine. A few manufacturers made twin-spark engines, Nissan was not alone in this type of design.

yeah i have a 85 stanza (altima before name change) and it has 8 plug wires and it creaped me out at frist too

the twin spark plug per cylinder is for giving less emitions , it creates a leaner burn and slightly better bhp.

a guy at my job has an 85 to 88 nissan pick up not sure of the year but somewhere in there it has 2 spark plugs per cylinder. he also has 230,000 miles on the orginal engine. he clams oil changes, tune up, and tires is all that he has done to it. oh and a new e-brake cable and dash light. and since its a nissan i do believe he is telling the truth. body is even near perfect no rust or dents.
