Angry conti trunk lock problem

I have a 1990 continental and the eletric trunk closer won't work. it will lock but not pull down and tighten. it makes no sounds either. suggestions? thanks, larry

Unhappy what goes around comes around

After making fun of that guy, my truck pull-down in my 92 continental just broke and did the same thing.
Whos laughing now?! ...not me
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!
( please help, cuz im a retard :/ )

after driving for 2 days with my trunk pulldown broken my father went to the local salvage yard and snatched a pulldown out of a older t/c and popped it in my conti
works great and costed nothing ( it fit in his pocket :} )
would definitley suggest
