Re: imports?

It all depends how much money you can spend and what type of performance you're looking for (1/4mi times, autocross, show car, etc...). Your question is so vague, narrow it down a little.

A vtec dohc engine like my h22a motor I just swapped in a couple weeks ago. great street performance, especially in my car weighing only 2600lbs. Best investment I've made so far.

The Integra GSR, 1.8 DOHC VTEC (B18C1), is probably the best all-around motor.

Well what doesn't sound good about revving up to 5500-6000, and getting a blast of power up to 8400rpm? I take it you're interested in Hondas then... Your question was just about imports in general, that's why I asked.
