ignition system

I think my distributor is acting up, everynow and then the tach drops revs for a split second ( like from 5k to 3k and then right back to 5k) I was looking at upgrading my ignition system and my fuel system for the turbo. I am looking at the usual suspect (MSD) but I also am looking at the Accell 300+ system. anyone have any feedback on them ? the Accell kit is about 300$ (usd) and the msd is probably around 550 once the SCI box(with rev limiter) Wires, Cap & coil included. the Accell kit comes with everything but the wires in the kit but I have a nice set of NGK's that I am using... I'm leaning towards the Accell but I'm looking for some feedback.

Thanks

Re: ignition system

I've heard the Accell is decent, but I run the MSD SCI w/ rev limit, cap, Blaste H.V. coil, & wires. I'm very happy with the system, even though it hardly does anything for me @ this point.

Figure out your problem before you go wasting money on a performance ignition system.
