d16z2 swap b16a1

hi guys.i'm new here and i don't know a lot of things.i have a 1991 rover 216gsi which has from rover the d16z2.i want to know if i can swap the engine with the b16a1 with not a lot of modifications.thnx.

You may be better off finding a rover forum to ask this in, since I bet 90% of the people in here have no clue as to what you are talking about.

maybe u r right kris but if u see it it has nothing to do with rover but with a 88-91 civic ED7.it is excatly tha same motor.

The motor is the same but inside the engine bay probly isnt....in a civic you need new motor mounts, axles, shift linkage, and wiring harnesses to convert from a d series engine to a b series

But it doesnt mean everything else has to be the same.
