Re: Performance Exhaust System (spt)

Is it cat-back or turbo-back?

cat-back i think.. im not quite sure...

PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM (SPT)
Large diameter, 3-inch stainless steel construction replaces stock intermediate pipe and muffler, resulting in enhanced exhaust sound and performance. Manufactured for Subaru of America by Bosal.(Rear Differential Protector and Trailer Hitch may not be installed in conjunction with WRX Performance Exhaust System installation.)

dats all it says for it..

Re: Performance Exhaust System (spt)

As with most cat-backs, you'll get minimal performance. With that exhaust, you're not eliminating any cats, of which the WRX has many. It's best to pay more and get a full turbo-back exhaust, which will eliminate 2 of the 3 cats. Paired with an up-pipe, you'll eliminate all cats and get a solid 30-40hp. A cat back... you'll get sound and placebo power.

As to its durability, who knows. Is your goal power? Looks? Sound?
