Question Need help on Alternator/Lights dimming

Allright....i have a mad problem with my car. When i turn the key to the on position, all the lights and beepers work fine. As soon as i turn on the lights, everything dims. I know my battery is fully charged because it's brand new and i used my alternator from my Si motor and i dont think it has been replaced once in 11 years. Has anyone had this problem before or maybe know if they could help me??

i would check your alternator like right now, and if that isn't it check a plug, if your engine is bogging then things will dim. i say those 2 things.

aight yeah mine aren't that bad, it could also be that you don't have enough tension in your alt. belt, make sure there isn't much slack in it, and like trin said check your connections, maybe one got knocked loose

Allright, im happy. I found out that it was the Alternator. My old alternator was running at 8 ohms and it is supposed to be running at 16 ohms. thanks for the help everyone.
