P10DET, you have been pretty quiet these days. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on the small project I am doing. I don't know if you know already but going to install a BB turbo....Still in process of getting some parts and saving money so won't be finished till spring.

As for installing a BB turbo set-up on a DE, I think the best I could do is point you to some web sites and some people who have some experience in this arena. You'll have to drill an oil return line and figure out where to source your oil and water for the turbo. This stuff isn't hard, but it does take some homework. What are you doing for an intercooler and piping?

You might want to do something like this (just flip the picture, this one routes to the opposite side) ![]() BTW thats a Griffin intercooler core 20" x 10" (same size Luke has I believe) cost is $300 for the core. Those particular endtanks are $70 and $80 a piece, so you're looking at $450 for that setup there. They'll also pre-weld the endtanks for an extra $40. Of course if you want something a little more shiney, and niche (HK$, Greedy, etc...) you'll wind up paying $1000 instead of $500. |

Yeah I was debating on wether to plumb the ic pipes all the way through but Luke said that he had to move the ABS module and some other stuff. I am agreeing with you in plumbing, all on one side. I have attached a picture of what I am talking about and that intercooler looks just like this one....maybe it is the same IC...Griffin? Anyways the turbo I got was bad...I mean you can totally tell it was bad so I am going to get that rebuilt. I have the Z32 fuel pump, 370cc Injectors, manual boost controller, BB manifold. I am going the same way as Luke and going to try and get a hold of a 95-97 ECU and have JWT tune it. With this setup what clutch should I get that would be sufficent enough to hold this power? I'm guessing I don't have to get a crazy grabby clutch since it won't be crazy Hp. Thanks guys.
