Talking NISMO Celica GT-R vs 89 240sx

Lastnight Me and TerminalVelocity went for a late night cruise in his 240sx cause we're just .... umm... We're just dumb in most cases.

Anywho, while cruising we happen upon this newer generation red Celica with steelies upfront a double wing out back, generic exhaust tip, and the thing that scared us to the core of our beings. The GT-R badge... we knew this guy was serious when he ordered the NISMO option for his race car.

TV - "OOoo a GTR... think I can take it?"

RN - "It's a toss up, if he got the GT-R fully optioned out with Vtec then no way. But if he just got it Onstar chip then he's as good as dead."

TV - "But the wing... it's massive... Is that a Stinger missile hung from it?"

RN - "Pay no attention to his offensive capabilities... just drive like you broke wind!.."

TV - "You mean, 'like the wind'..."

RN - "Shutup... drive bitch."

TV - "Cockwhore..."

So at this point we're sitting behind him at a light waiting to turn left. I'm personally starting to lose my nerve, the steelies tell me he's a pro-racer and knowing that he's got the power of Skyline doesn't help ease my thoughts. What made me lose all hope was seeing the 'TEAM SNYPERZ' sticker on the side... I knew this car was a race bred machine.

Light goes green, we both turn onto the street we pull along side. We find two guys riding in this rocket sled. We cruise along side egging him on. Finally he gives in, and from about a 35mph roll on we just pull away.

Needless to say we were shocked that the NISMO Celica lost... So a little further down the road we catch a redlight. We wait next to them for a long time while the light cycles through, as it is about to go red he starts to rev up. Light goes green, TV dumps the clutch and spins slightly... the GT-R pulls ahead about 2-3ft, once our mighty KA24E motor hooks with all that mighty torque we just simply put bus lengths on him.

We slow down, give the guy thumbs up for being cool he returns the action by giving a peace sign... we move on our seperate ways.

Naturally, after beating a NISMO Celica we were high on adrenaline... so what better way to celebrate our victory? Yes! We pissed in a dark alley cause .... we had to go potty.

It's obvious this car didnt have Vtec as well... cause how else would of we beaten it? No other explination other than his GT-R options must be in the shop for service. His header probably wasn't headerin right... its possibly his computer had a virus... who knows maybe his rearend was going out? Cause if it'd been in good tune, he would of killed us. I hope to see him again once his options are reinstalled.

A good night indeed... You race with Honor NISMO Celica Man!

You race like KIKKOMAN!

Geez.. you guys sure are maniacs for taking on such a challenge... Soon TV will be easily able to take out such GTR Celica's with vtec soon as the beast gets some new motivation with a heart transplant

I'm still a little worried about that missle wing, dude. I mean, 240SX's are dog slow with the KA24, right? So, there's no way you can dodge an oncoming missle!

Hehe, good run.

Hahahahahahahaha. Those things are N/A dogs aye, lucky to be even 165hp from the factory. Not even close to any of the turbo Skylines let alone the real GTR.

Umm Nismo is Nissan not Toyota RN, you mean TRD right

All in all good kill.

He knows. He's just assuming that, with the GT-R badge and all, that the Celica HAD to be RB26-powered...Nissan Powah! LOL

that would be really cool if he actually did that...

i'd love to get a gtr engine into a car that wasn't a skyline and just put gtr emblems all over the place to piss people off
