Ok Ill do my best to explain a little. Hopfully someone else will post to back up what Im saying or correct me. First of a street port is when you have the intake and/or exaust ports on the rotor housings ground out to make them bigger so they flow more. Its very similar to porting heads on a piston motor execpt porting a rotary has the same affect as changing cams on a piston motor. If youve ever heard a Mustang or other "muscle car" idle very rough its because they have a different, more argressive cam. On a rotary a mild/stage 1 port is only making the ports a little larger and longer so as to keep it streetable (idle at low revs and pass emisions). Apex seals are the seal between the rotor and the rotor housing and are comprable to piston rings. Getting bigger ones (stock are 2mm and bigger are 3mm) is to make the seals last longer (espically for turbo motors). Not so knowlageable on FDs but I think your single turbo idea is in the right direction. Im sure others on this fourm can recomend places to buy parts from better than I could. Good luck with getting an FD.
