Where to Purchase 4x4 Accessories in Canada?

Does anyone have a list of web sites and/or stores in Canada/Ontario where I can purchase all of the nice goodies for my new X. Things like skid plates, tires, ARB etc. I can order it off of the web in the US but by the time I pay for it, pay the exchange rate, pay for shipping and then have the Canadian government rape me for duty and taxes it can be quite costly. Any help people could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

SarnX.

All the aftermarket gear for the Xterra is manufactured in the US. I used to order accessories and have it sent to my friends house in Seattle. We would install it, and drive over the border.

Maybe you could hook up with a US club, and do a mod-install over the weekend in the US sometime. I hear beer is a good motivator for most.

Thanks Schludwiller,

I do live right on the border. Therefore my next question is are there any contacts in Michigan, say around Port Huron that I could hook up with?

Have a look at www.national4wd.com

They can get most stuff that you need.

Thanks Rhombus,

Cool site, but it doesn't seem like they have a lot of stuff for the X. But here's hoping they expand.

Ahem... ARB? TJM? They don't come from Kansas, they come from Oz!

They might not list the stuff for the X but might be able to get the stuff here. They have a shop in the US and sometimes get a good price because of the large orders that they place.

I got my ARB, Warn Hubs, Yellow Top and ARB Comp from them.

Try North Shore Off-Road in Vancouver. www.NSOR.com

They seemed pretty reasonable to deal with.

NSOR isn't bad, they quoted me a fair price on some Bilsteins (equiv to $60 US) and my Hellas were hella-cheap too.

He might want to at least look into ordering directly from Australia. I believe the prices I was quoted for TJM's was better than US prices even after the shipping costs. I haven't even seen the aluminum version I have offered in the US. The steel version was pretty cheap from what I remember. The best prices I got were from 4X4 Parts Australia.

Yep! But, I am computer illiterate and have been to lazy to figure out how to do it.

I have just enough knowledge to post.:bandit:
