Lost In Translation: Movie Review
ok, sorry for being a day late, but cuz of the jewish holiday(yes im jewish) i couldnt see a movie on my normal saturday night.
so me and my bro went to see this flick. Essentially a love story if you ask me, its about a man who travels to Japan to shoot a TV commercial for a whiskey product he promotes. In a world that he is so accustomed to, being this great film legend and actor, having to get directions only in japanese and occasionally thorugh a translator he finds his job much more challanging, until he finds a fellow american. A very different movie, much like watching a long Seinfeld episode as it mostly revolved around just a normal course of a day. An excellent film to say the least, great acting and a terrific story make this an enjoyable experience, for the more intellectual crowd. 4 stars out of 4. Rated R for brief nudity, some violence, and language. approx 1hr 45mins. -Scott
