Question Pegasus Rims

I just bought #1238 rims at my local hobby shop. They were made by Pegasus. (never heard of them) I've only heard everyone @ af talk about Fujimi and Aoshima. Look at http://www.pegasushobbies.com/rims.htm to see them. Do think these were worth my $9? They seem to be about 15." Are these more for the lowrider crowd?

If you're looking for them, my hobby shop has a ton. You could pick give me the #, and I'll see if they have them.

More for the customs/Lowriders. If you see the Diablos, they have a resemblence to Boyd Coddington billets, so they would be for the Hotrodders. If you look towards the bottom you can see all the wire wheels, for Lowriders.

Re: Re: Pegasus Rims

There are some sweet rims there. I'm going to check out some of my cars and see if I can use anything there.

The only thing I don't like about the Pegasus rims is that the mounting post is usually too long and has to be modified (i.e.: shortened with a rotory tool with extreme precision to avoid having one wheel stick out further that the other) to fit them onto a plastic model correctly. I believe they are aimed more that the diecast crowd, but hey...I'll buy'em for 9 bucks.
