Well, I have a 96 Accord LX myself. The short answer is you're stuck with the gouvener. It actually stops you at 115 although I'm sure if varies somewhat. However, there is a way to chip your ECU into ignoring the gouvener, I'm not quite sure how to do it but it involves cracking open your ECU and soldering a resistor in there. Do a search, I'm sure you can find a wiring diagram somewhere that explains it in more detail. I'm not sure what the risks are in bypassing your gouvener, might want to research that a bit before you try anything.
