crx rear strut bar pics

I am trying to put my rear strut bar into my 89 crx and it doesn't seem that it will fit with out me cutting some of the plastic. Please post pics of your strut bars or let me know if I am going to have to cut the plastic. Thanx.

Mine fit fine w/o cutting... Unless you're talking about cutting the little strut access panels. I would've done that if I kept the bar... I suppose it all depends on the brand of bar you have... Mine was an eBay special & I decided that I'll eventually upgrade to Spoon or Neuspeed, so I gave it away...

No I don't mean the access plastic...It is the plastic right below the access pieces. My friend has a 91 si and he doesn't have this problem, but he is the only one I know that has a rex so I didn't know why I would have a problem and he didn't, but thanx for your replys...I am going to try and put them in tonight after my last class.

It depends which bar it is & how it mounts. Hatches & CRX's can have problems with the mounting brackets not fitting without trimming/cutting.
Heres what I did in my 91 civic si - Neuspeed bar. . . . . .

I had to cut mine a little bit, but not much at all... only had to cut into the little lip that surrounds the hole, not actually into the main part of the panel.

Well I got it in today and all I had to do was cut a little below the access panels. Thanx again for everyone's help.
