Unhappy 1994 Blazer Won't Start

I have a 1994 Blazer (Tahoe Edition) that at first appeared to have an ignition problem to start. I have replaced the wires, coil, plugs, cap, and rotor (all needed to be replaced in a very bad way anyways).

The issue is that when I try to start vehicle, I get a little catch but then just turns over with the starter and doesn't catch anymore like it is flooded.

After waiting for about 15 min's, the same scenario above, if left alone.

After replacing all the components mentioned above, the engine seems to run for a second or two then dies.

I know I have spark, and I can smell fuel in the tailpipe. The fuel pump appears to be running (there is the fuel pump cyle when the key is turned to on). Has anyone seen a problem like this before?

Thank you,
Will

4.3 Liter Vortec, FI, 4WD. I don't know the what would be considered an error code.

It happened suddenly. was running alright before the issue.. The vehicle was started to be moved to another spot and when I attempted to restart it to move it back, it would not....

locate the vacuum hose that runs from the brake booster to the intake manifold so that you know where it is and what tool is needed to take the clamp off if needed, usually the booster end just plugs into a grommet, but leave it connected. try starting the vehicle two or three times, with it not running quickly disconnect the hose and see if there is a very strong smell of gas.

or connect a fuel pressure gauge. with the key on, and engine not running, you should have 58-64 psi. the pressure is critical. if its low look for a ruptured fuel pressure regulator, or bad fuel pump.

Ever replace the fuel filter? Those engines need a lot of pressure to start and run. cheap problem if that's all that's wrong...hope that's all it is.

I will look into the fuel filter. That definately would be the cheapest fix.

Thank you for your help.
