1998 S10 Question (electrical)
Rear left turn signal and brake light out...Replaced fuse.5 Minutes later fuse blows again.
What would happen if I went from a 10 amp 1to a 15 amp fuse? Would it last maybe 10 minutes? And also where is the EGR Valve in this vehicle? |

Try asking the S10 guys in the Chevy forum.

fuses are there to protect your wiring when something goes wrong and a circuit draws too much current. DO NOT merely replace the fuse with one of higher amperage. Find the problem and correct it. Could be a chaffed wire shorting to ground in the taillight circuit.
As to the EGR, get a manual for your truck. It will show you where it is and how to check it. And it will show you a wiring diagram as well. |
