60,000 Tune Up

sup peeps!

My car is approaching the 60k mark.. i havent done much cept your basic 3k oil/filter change. i noticed that the engine is not runnig as smooth as it once did.. i know it's time to get a tune up but what should i be expecting to get done/looked at.. ? thanks

oh,

btw.. what other things should i get done.. i.e fluid drain, tranny fluid change..etc..

At 60k you should: replace the air and engine filters, get your trans. serviced, flush the coolant and replace, and replace the drive belts.

don't forget the oil change.

might be a good time to replace your battery too, if it's anywhere near end of life. save your alternator.

while ur at it. change the spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, along with ur spark plugs.

check ur maintance schedule in ur owner's manual. i think it's about every 30,000 miles. double check in ur manual to make sure.

At 60,000 miles you're supposed to install a SR20DET.

I know, I know... That is why I am wandering why should i bother with those bolts on... Now is the cost factor of SR20DET vs SR20VE...
