my audio system plans. asking for comments/suggestions

currently I have 2 CVR's in a ported box powered by Performance Tekique amp (ICBM-779). I don't really like the way they sound, so I'm looking for something else. I also have a 12L5 sub laying around. I'm planning to use the sub in sealed enclosure (2 cF) powered by JBL BP600.1. I see no reason in going for Audiobahn, since they're more expencive. I also checked out eD O series which look pretty nice but a little pricy and since I already have a sub I might just go with it.
So the question is, if I power that sub with that amp, will it sound nice? I don't mean loud (although i do expect it to be loud), but clean and low? Any suggestions to that setup are welcome and appreciated. Also, if there's anything better than the JBL please tell me.

also, the mids/highs are kickers K65.2 in front and stock (crappy) Maxima speakers in the back which are gonna be replaced by Pioneers 6.5" 50RMS (for now). The front is powered by another P. Teknique - ICBM 774. For now I'm mostly concerned with subwoofers. sorry for the long post, but i am a newbie here...

no more ported for me. as I already said I would go for the eD's but again, price tag is not very satisfying. -\

keep in mind, for the price you spend on those O's you're getting a sub that's pretty much equivalent to the jl w6v2, brahma, etc.

They are WELL worth the price

Re: Re: Re: my audio system plans. asking for comments/suggestions

ya, but I could get JLs 12w6v2 for the same price (no shipping cost). is there any advantage to those? I mean after browsing throught a lot of post like "best subs/amps" it all comes down to personal preference, but there HAS to be technical advantages/disadvatages which are kind of hard to find

i sure could get the 12w6 for $175-180, so I figure that 12w6v2 shouldn't be over $200
