I went to AutoZone to get my check engine light looked at. They gave me a print out that says:
"The PCN has determined that a malfunction exits in the heater curcuit for oxygen sensor 1 in bank 1." That kid couldn't give me any more info. He couldn't tell me which 02 sensor, where it was... Help!!! I have confidence I can change it, but which one do I change and where is it located? D. |

Hey this might help or not, but it's what I found on google at http://www.coastaletech.com/generic.htm:
Open or short in heater circuit of heated oxygen sensor Heated oxygen sensor heater ECMNow this is a generic readout for your problem. But my advice would pick up a Haynes manual for your year car and see if you can find out more about the sensor. It has really detailed information about different specs on your car, including the whole electrical layout and information about O2 sensors. Might be a place to start, plus it would be a good investment for later problems you have down the road. That's just my own thought being a newbie myself. Regards... ~AciD
