Sounds good but after that I hope your gonna do something about the engine. I have a big thing about how cars look good but are real slow. Not to hate on your car, but its only got 72?hp. Just, if it were mine, id do something about the engine asap. But seriously, it sounds like you got good plans for the car so far. Good luck

yeah, im going with a b16a once i get everything else out of the way. i dont want to drop the cash on the motor, get stupid with my new found power and run off the road. have to make sure my car can handle what im putting in it. its ugly as hell right now... one door is red, hood is black and rusty, the car is white...... dont worry bout it looking nice and not going anywhere. im getting the rims now only because they are lighter than my steelies and i want to get all the camber problems worked out asap.
but yeah, im with ya. i hate rice.

nice choices in parts, im with you do the suspension up good, worry bout the engine later, im more of a handling buff than a acceleration. only need the acceleration to get out of corners. my question is how old are you to be buying all this shit. lol. im 19 and i can t afford shit. everytime i save up enough to get somethin. something goes wrong (like my tranny that i replaced today). so your lucky have fun with your awesome handling.

heh i hear ya with the money question. answer is pretty simple. im at the poverty level, 24, a full time student....... insta pell grant and student loans. you have to sign a note saying you will put the excess money to "education" but since i live 20 miles from my school, i would say having a car to get me there is reason enough. might as well fix it right

lol thats a good reason to me.

first welcome to the boards, sounds like you have a good plan to start there, i agree that you should beef up the car first with the neglected areas of the car before going big motor.

Hey, Welcome to the boards!

Yeah, I think you're right to start with the suspension, it just gets rotten after ten years or so. However, I guarantee you get to the point that you're sick of it, so just start finding out about swaps!

Sounds like you have a good starting list of what parts to use, they sound like good quality to me.

its all about the suspension....unless all u do is drag race but u might not need a camber kit depending on ur drop...and if ur a real suspension buff u won't need to drop ur car no more that about 1.5"...people lik myself who drop our cars 2"+ just like to close in the wheel well gap have fun...i too am at the povery level....but 24 going to school with 2 kids but my wife makes almost double what i make and we can't forget about.....income tax time

im looking at anywhere for a 1.5 to a 2 inch drop. my last car had 17's on it and i loved the way it filled the well, hated the way it slowed me down. this time im going more for performance than looks. i want it to fill the well, but not so bad as to cause me undue stress. im getting 15's with 205 50 15 tires on em. any ideas on the drop i should shoot for to make it look nice, but avoid rub?
