Moderator?
Does anyone know how to become a moderator? I mean, I see it all the time, this guy is an AF moderator, and this guy is some other sort of mod, well, whats it take? I mean, what do you have to do, how long do you have to be here, whats the advantage of being one? Is it more of a pain than a pleasure?

Well first of all asking about it is unlikely to get you anywhere, it shows a lack of knowledge about how most forums work, which is an essential part of being a mod.
You also have to be able to demonstrate an above average knoweldge and passion for some automotive specialty, and most importantly you have to be mature enough to be able to deal with all sorts of differnt problems and take a fair bit of abuse. There are no advantages, it just puts you in a unique position to help others who hopefully share a similar passion, in this case cars. But don't come looking for us, if you have what it takes, and we need a new mod we will find you.
